US-CSOG was founded by an experienced corrections special-operations career operator with over 25 years inside the mission set. The founding operator's career spans corrections operations, policy development for law enforcement agencies, K9 handler work, and Corrections Special Ops Unit (C-SOU) program development for facilities most vendors do not enter. The unit was built on a straightforward premise: the corrections environment is its own domain, and it requires operators, doctrine, and training built specifically for it — not borrowed from patrol, military, or private security. Everything US-CSOG delivers is downstream of that principle.
