The Corrections Special Operations Unit Twelve Sheriffs' Offices Turned Out to See.

A National Sheriffs' Magazine feature on US-CSOG's Mobile Tactical Lab Tour, sponsored by Woolrich Elite Series Tactical, drew twelve sheriffs' offices to a single training event — so many the venue had to be moved to a high school auditorium. Special Response Teams and Warrant Service Units from across the Southeast attended. Local newspapers covered the event.

The 2010 issue of Deputy & Court Officer — the official magazine of the National Sheriffs' Association — put STL Joseph Garcia on the cover and ran his feature article, “Cell Extractions for the 21st Century.” The article introduced Dynamic Cell Extraction, the doctrine Garcia developed in 1999 that replaced brute-force manpower entries with technology-driven compliance tactics.
